NATO Phonetic Alphabet
The NATO Phonetic Alphabet provides a standardized way to communicate letters clearly over radios, telephones, and other communication systems. By replacing individual letters with easily recognized words, it helps prevent misunderstandings and ensures messages are received accurately, even in noisy or challenging environments.

The military uses the 24-hour clock to eliminate confusion between AM and PM, ensuring clear and accurate communication around the world.
Easy Rule:
After noon, add 12 to convert to military time.
If the military time is greater than 1200, subtract 12 to convert back to standard time.
