Interested in learning more about Sea Cadets?
We invite prospective cadets and their families to experience Sea Cadets firsthand during a Shadow Day at one of our monthly drill weekends.
While prospective cadets participate in training activities, parents and guardians have an opportunity to meet our staff, learn more about the program, and ask questions about membership, training opportunities, and expectations.
Because our unit meets aboard a controlled-access military installation, families interested in attending a Shadow Day must coordinate with us in advance so that we can arrange access and provide arrival instructions.

Sea Cadets develop confidence, responsibility, teamwork, and leadership skills through a structured program focused on honor, courage, commitment, and service.
Training & Adventure
From sailing and seamanship to cybersecurity, STEM, aviation, leadership, and community service, cadets participate in experiences that challenge them to grow and succeed.
Friendship and Opportunity
Cadets build lifelong friendships while exploring opportunities that include advanced training, travel, international exchanges, and future leadership development.

Our Color Guard proudly supports military, veteran, civic, educational, and community events throughout the Baltimore region while representing the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps with honor, precision, and respect.
Whether you are planning a veterans ceremony, memorial service, retirement, school function, patriotic observance, or other special event, our cadets are honored to participate in ceremonies that recognize service, sacrifice, and community.
To request our Color Guard, please contact us with your event date, time, location, and a brief description of the occasion. We kindly request at least 30 days' advance notice whenever possible to allow time for scheduling, coordination, and Command approval. While every effort is made to accommodate requests, participation is subject to cadet availability and unit commitments.
